Accepting new clients in office + telehealth - $50

Hi, I’m Maya!

Hi I’m Maya! I am a Chicana, neurodivergent counselor in Tucson, focusing from a trauma-informed, and humanistic approach. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and finding local adventures and events in town.

As someone who’s sought help, I know how hard it can be to find someone who truly gets it, whether you’re seeking support for your child, navigating relationship challenges, or trying to reconnect with your own sense of self. You deserve a space where all parts of you feel seen, safe, and supported. I'm here to walk alongside you with warmth, understanding, showing up authentically myself and honoring your unique experiences.

I specialize and have experience in working with children, trauma, codependency, relationships, and am passionate about providing accessible, affirming mental health care, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ and am part of these communities. I use video games and play in therapy with kids and take a person centered approach to adults, believing you have strengths within that we can access for growth.

I hope to empower you to heal, reclaim your identity, and navigate life’s challenges with dignity and strength, all while honoring your goals.

I am here to offer a safe, inclusive space where you can feel respected and supported. Feel free to reach out with questions or schedule an initial call!

My rate is $50 for initial diagnostic evaluations, ongoing sessions (50 minutes), families and couples (60 minutes).

I accept private pay only.
