Accepting new clients via office + telehealth
Hi, I’m Alex Goodrich!
Welcome! I am a Licensed Associate Counselor, mom and military wife who loves all things nature, hiking and new adventures with my family.
Perhaps you are here because you feel like you’re just living day by day. Maybe you’re stuck in a relationship you’re not sure about anymore or you’re wanting to take your life in a different direction!
Finding a therapist can be an invaluable tool in your personal growth. I am honored to help you explore the process to see if we are a good fit, if so, I will walk beside you whether you want to work through difficult times, improve self confidence, or a safe space to process your emotions. I will encourage and support you through your time of healing and discovery.
I have experience working with adults and children. I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationship issues and different life transitions with a focus on trauma and crisis. I use a Person-Centered approach while using CBT and Play Therapy. Everyone has their own story, and I will tailor my approach to fit your needs!
My easygoing personality allows me to be honest, authentic, and open. I have experienced the counseling process myself, so I know how intimidating and fearful the beginning of this process can be. Coming here is vulnerable work and I am honored at the potential of being part of your journey.

I am a full believer in a Person-Centered approach. This means, I am always approaching you with unconditional positive regard and trust, whatever you need to work through. I am not afraid to use humor and think it's helpful to use some self-disclosure to help you feel understood, seen and less alone!

I have been told I'm laidback, funny and have a warmth to my counseling approach. I am here for providing resources and skills but also think that our therapeutic relationship is the most important part above any tool or skill. I dress casually so don't hesitate to show up in your comfiest clothes!

I tend to work with clients dealing with relationship issues that they want to work on individually, as well as anxiety, depression and mood dysregulation. My clients tend to be older teens and young adults but don't hesitate to reach out if you don't hear yourself in this description!
