Accepting new clients telehealth
Hi, I’m Krista!
I have my LMSW and have been in the field of behavioral health for 10 years. I’ve been in the healing arts in some capacity for over 30 years. I’m a therapist, intuitive, writer, animal lover, artist, yogi, and believer in open-hearted living.
I spend my free time near Sedona practicing yoga, hiking, reading, exploring new places, and writing. I love reading and writing stories and am interested in hearing yours. I’ve lived all over the country and enjoy meeting different people. If you feel like you don’t fit in, you’ll probably like my style.
I remember my first counseling session in the 1980s. A woman much older than me was able to be my best friend in a unique and special way. I had someone to share difficult things with who could listen and offer kind feedback about what I was feeling. I’m so grateful for that experience as it set me on a path of counseling others. Clients have said I’m reliably kind, funny, supportive, and loving.
I work with autism, ADHD, depression, and anxiety, ages 12+. I love working with the LGBTQIA+ community and with couples. I also work with people who prefer someone who understands the psychic world.

I obtained my master’s in social work in 1998 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My experience includes community mental health, hospice, and private practice. I especially enjoy working with clients with depression to overcome the lies they have learned to believe.

Individual Therapy – Ages 12+: You’ll be able to speak freely about difficult experiences and gain a new framework from which to see your experiences and build a toolbox of tactics to find relief.
Couples Therapy: Working with Gottman techniques and exercises to enhance communication, couples can find peace and acceptance of the relationship they have instead of trying to change one another.
Telehealth Sessions Only: Moms and dads enjoy the flexibilities of evening sessions. No need to consider commuting with telehealth
