Accepting new clients in office + telehealth in May!
Hi, I’m Maya!
I am a Chicana, humanist intern counselor based in Tucson, AZ, committed to supporting marginalized communities through a decolonized, trauma-informed, and humanistic approach. Specializing in addiction, trauma, and working with all populations, I am passionate about providing accessible, affirming mental health care, particularly for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals.
With a deep understanding of intersectionality, I empower clients to heal, reclaim their identities, and navigate life’s challenges with dignity and strength, all while honoring cultural and personal experiences.
Rooted in a commitment to the working-class community, Maya fosters a safe, inclusive space where all individuals are respected and supported. Feel free to reach out with questions or schedule an initial call!
