Emerging Adulthood
Emerging adulthood can feel like standing at the edge of a thousand open doors, unsure which one to walk through— or if any of them even lead where you actually want to go.
It’s a season full of pressure to “figure it all out,” while juggling identity, independence, relationships, and big life transitions, often with zero roadmap. In therapy, this stage is about more than career goals or checklists—it’s about helping young adults navigate uncertainty, explore who they are becoming, and build a life that feels authentic, not just expected. The struggle isn’t that they’re lost—it’s that the world often expects them to already have a destination without giving space to just be in the becoming.
